Vibration Resistant Bulb

Among the Asalite vibration-resistant models, you will find the perfect solution for every need!

Ranging from 25W to 100W, you can find the right light source for any lighting requirement, whether it's cozy home lighting or more powerful illumination, such as for work areas. Our vibration-resistant bulb models provide a pleasant, warm light (2700K). The tungsten filament bulbs are highly resistant to various environmental factors, whether in high or low temperatures, and they reach their full brightness instantly when switched on.

The bulbs are compatible with standard E14 and E27 sockets, making them easy to replace. Their luminous flux ranges from 130 to 1050 lumens, allowing for a choice between soft and intense lighting. The translucent glass cover ensures maximum brightness, and the product is dimmable, meaning it can be adjusted for brightness control to suit your needs.

You can choose from a variety of shapes, such as the A55 globe, C35 candle, G45 mini globe, or the R50 spot, ensuring that you can find the right product for every room and lamp type. If you’re looking for a reliable and durable solution that is vibration-resistant, these bulbs are an ideal choice for both home and industrial environments.

Vibration-resistant bulb models are specifically designed light fixtures that withstand the harmful effects of vibrations and shocks. These bulbs are particularly useful in environments where continuous movement or vibration—such as near machinery or vehicles—could quickly damage traditional types. Vibration-resistant bulb models are popular in industrial applications, construction sites, and transportation vehicles like cars, trains, and ships, as well as sometimes in households.

How do vibration-resistant halogen bulbs work?

The vibration-resistant models, including E14 and E27 bulb types, have reinforced structural designs. In traditional types, the tungsten filament is thin and sensitive to breakage caused by vibrations. However, vibration-resistant halogen bulbs are made with thicker tungsten filaments, which are often arranged in a spiral shape to reduce breakage. Additionally, the filament is reinforced with extra anchoring points to increase stability. The material of the casing and the internal structure are also specially designed to absorb the effects of vibrations and shocks.

What types exist?

Among the vibration-resistant varieties, there are two main types: traditional tungsten and halogen types. The advantage of halogen versions is that they have a stronger brightness and a longer lifespan due to containing halogen gas, which reduces the wear on the tungsten filament. As a result, halogen vibration-resistant types are more reliable than their traditional tungsten counterparts. Did you know that E14 and E27 bulb models are the most popular?

Applications and benefits

Vibration-resistant halogen bulbs prove beneficial in various areas. In industrial environments, such as factories where continuous vibrations occur, traditional types could fail quickly. In construction, where heavy machinery vibrations are constant, vibration-resistant halogen versions contribute to continuous lighting in the work area. Additionally, they are used in transportation vehicles like trains or buses, where the continuous movement subjects the light fixtures to extra stress.

They can also be useful in households, particularly in areas where doors frequently open and close, or where the flooring is subject to vibrations. In outdoor applications, such as in gardens or garden lamps, their use is advantageous as they withstand shocks caused by weather and wind.

Disadvantages and maintenance needs

Vibration-resistant halogen bulb models are generally more expensive than their traditional counterparts, which requires a higher initial investment. Although their longer lifespan makes them more cost-effective in the long run, it is worth considering the initial costs. Regular maintenance of the bulbs is also important, especially in industrial environments, to prevent damage caused by dust and other contaminants that could reduce their lifespan prematurely.
